Powder coating is more than just a finish — it’s a tough, durable, and visually striking solution that protects and enhances your metal surfaces. At AAA Coatings and Blasting, we specialise in delivering quality powder-coated results designed to last.
The process starts with expert surface preparation — usually through abrasive blasting and/or chemical pretreatment — to ensure a clean, profile-ready base. Then, using electrostatic application, we spray fine powder particles that cling evenly to the surface. Once cured in a high-temperature oven, the powder melts and forms a smooth, hard finish that resists chipping, scratching, fading, and corrosion.
With hundreds of colours and textures to choose from — including metallics, clears, zinc-rich primers ripples and hammertones — we’ve got the perfect look and protection for every job.
With multiple batch ovens up to 7 metres in length and 1.8 metres in width, our facility is built for flexibility — from custom one-off jobs to high-volume production runs. Whether you need tailored solutions for unique projects or consistent results for repeat contracts, we’ve got the capacity and expertise to deliver.
To ensure maximum durability in outdoor installations, we apply premium zinc-rich epoxy primers or specialty chemicals prior to topcoating, providing excellent corrosion resistance and a long-lasting, high-performance finish — all tailored to your selected coating system.
Whether it’s steel, aluminium, brass or cast, our team brings the precision, care, and experience to get it right — first time, every time. Fast turnarounds, honest service, and quality that speaks for itself — that’s the AAA difference.
While being a more environmentally friendly option than traditional spray painting, powder coat is also typically 3-6 times thicker. The higher thickness improves the corrosion resistance and overall durability verses wet spray paint. In addition, the thermal bonding process of powder paint provides a stronger bond and structure of the paint making less prone to chipping and scratching.
